PIONEERING ZERO WASTE MANUFACTURING

OPPORTUNITY

Large scale centralized recycling systems have not adapted for post-industrial waste needs. Company driven zero waste initiatives are often met with a lack of viable outlets as recycling is under fire in the US because of Operation Green Fence and National Sword Policy. HighCube is pioneering manufacturing systems and products — avoiding export of recyclables, reducing landfill volume, and diminishing dependency on virgin materials — through a circular economy.

FAQs

What services do you offer?
We specialize in common to landfill polymer based packaging materials - Polystyrene (Styrofoam), Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and more. Often technically recyclable, but not economically viable. We manufacture long lifecycle high value products closing the loop with plastics.

What is a circular economy?
Our current model of take, make, dispose is a linear approach. We consume energy, land, materials, and water for goods we use everyday for an increasingly short life-time. We need innovative solutions - a circular economy eliminates waste and promotes continual use of resources. Circular systems employ reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling to create a closed-loop system.

What are the benefits of a circular economy?
Create value from undertilized materials and increase corportate reputation. Minimize virgin resource use, avoid waste, turn waste into a resource, cut costs, create jobs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

What is a HighCube?
A highcube is a shipping container suitable for harsh condition shipments. After a certain period of time in harsh weather the containers reach their expiration date and are no longer approved for marine shipping. However, because the containers are made of durable steel they are often used for storage and transportation. Perfect for transporting of post-industrial plastics to and from our facility.
